Fast Track Fitness Retreats was started by Jane after she and husband Stephen attended a retreat in Cornwall in 2018. They decided to bring together fitness and the outdoors, creating great retreats in beautiful locations.
Our first retreat took place in October 2019 in the New Forest, a part of the country which is very special to Jane having spent a lot of time there growing up. The location informs our logo with the trees to represent the forest. We spent 4 lovely days with our retreaters based in Lyndhurst and enjoying runs and hikes in the Forest as well as a trip to do some paddleboarding on the coast at Milford on Sea.
Sadly Covid struck before any more weekend retreats could take place and in the intervening time Jane has opened her own fitness studio - Spin and Workout but she has decided that now is the time to bring back FTFR and start planning some great retreats. As more and more people want to take time out for themselves and really invest in their wellbeing, we believe that we can offer a great weekend that you will enjoy and be able to completely escape from everyday life.
Our ethos is to spend as much time outside in the wonderful English countryside as possible, although we don't let the weather put us off we do always ensure that wherever we go we can still do our classes indoors! The physical and mental health benefits of exercising outdoors are well known, feel the sun on your face and the wind in your hair and enjoy the fresh air.
Our retreats aren't bootcamps, all of our classes are optional so if you want a lay in then you can! We also want people to have time to enjoy the local area and completely switch off from their busy lives so there will be time for you to walk, explore or just sit and read a book.
The food on our retreats will be healthy but there will always be desert and wine!
